G&M Tex designed, manufactured and installed the Cummins QSK50-based 1000kWe EDG emergency generator for the Expeditionary Transfer Dock (formerly the Mobile Landing Platform). The semi-submersible platform provides the US Navy with the capability to transfer large vehicles and equipment from sea to shore, significantly reducing the dependency on foreign ports.
